Claude Voice Mode Gets Smarter: Opus, Sonnet, Your Email and Calendar, and More Languages (2026)

On July 23, 2026, Anthropic upgraded Claude voice mode. It now runs on Claude's more capable Opus and Sonnet models, can reach connected tools like your email and calendar mid-conversation, and speaks many more languages.
