Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies AiByts uses, and why. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
What we use today
| Name | Type | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in to your account. Set only once you sign in; removed when you sign out. |
| Theme preference | Strictly necessary / preference | Remembers your light/dark mode choice. Stored in your browser's local storage, not sent to our servers. |
Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) | Analytics (third party) | Counts visits and shows which pages are used, so we can improve the Service. Set by Google; see how Google uses this data. |
Microsoft Clarity (_clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID) | Analytics (third party) | Records how pages are used (clicks, scrolling, page layout) as heatmaps and session replays, so we can find usability problems. Text you type into forms is masked. Set by Microsoft; see the Microsoft Privacy Statement. |
We do not use advertising cookies.
Managing cookies
The session and theme entries are required for core functionality (staying signed in) — the Service will not work correctly without them. The analytics cookies are optional: blocking them doesn't affect the Service. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on. Blocking the session cookie will prevent you from staying signed in.
