Tencent has launched a free short-drama mini program inside WeChat called Lüpaopao Duanju. The service offers live-action, animated and AI-generated dramas, with advertisements shown between episodes. The mini program includes a browsing section and a vertically scrolling recommendation feed.
WeChatBridge, a third-party open-source tool, now has a Windows beta that forwards selected WeChat chat records to AI agents such as Codex and Claude Code, or saves them to Obsidian.
A hands-on report says WorkBuddy can generate a WeChat mini program, wire cloud login and storage, then preview and request a publish. WeChat review and filing stay outside the agent.
